Onelife Design & Build has earned a reputation for honesty, transparency, integrity and of course; craftsmanship. The Onelife team consists of 9 full-time team members to support the client relationships ensuring a great client experience. Onelife Design & Build simply integrates all elements of the building process - consultation, architecture, permits, design, demolition, construction and overall management. Building, adding onto or renovating can be an overwhelming experience, we ensure that process is as seamless as possible. There will be obstacles along the way but we have your back - our clients are our obsession.

Our commitment.

Warranty - First Year (Renovations + Additions + Custom Homes)

During the first year of occupancy of your home, your coverage includes:

  • Equipment & material within respective manufacturers warranties.

  • Constructed in a workmanlike manner and free from defects in craftsmanship and material.

  • Build-in accordance with the Ontario Building Code; and free of major structural defects.

Warranty - Second Year (Renovations + Additions + Custom Homes)

During the second year of occupancy of your home, your coverage includes:

  • Water penetration through the basement or foundation walls.

  • Defects in materials or work (caulking, windows, doors, etc.) resulting in water penetration into the building envelope.

  • Defects in materials or work in the electrical, plumbing and heating delivery and distribution systems.

  • Defects in materials or work which result in the detachment, displacement, or deterioration of exterior cladding (such as brickwork, aluminum, or vinyl siding).

  • Major structural defects.

  • Violations of the Ontario Building Code’s health and safety provision.

Warranty - Seven Year Major Structural (Custom Homes)

A major structural defect is defined as:


  • Any defect in materials or work that results in the failure of a load-bearing part of the home’s structure or materially and adversely affects its load-bearing function.

  • Any defect in materials or work that significantly and adversely affects the use of the building as a home.
